A NOT!BUG. Still an arthropod though. Kabuto takes things like training extremely seriously, but has a couple of quirky characteristics. The other Pokémon have learnt to get used to it. Or ignore it. Bit like Shino himself, actually. On Naruto's request, Shino has been trying to address Kabuto by a different name... with minimal success. He's simply too attached to his original species name. Even upon evolving into a Kabutops... NOPE. Still Kabuto.
