VIOLET CITY
[There is a great crack!, and a white flash illuminates the entire area - the whole of Kanto/Johto, if one were aware of it. The blinding light eventually begins to fade, and although one may notice some key changes, what's probably most the most concerning of all is... well.
There are insects.
Everywhere.
A couple of hundred-thousand. Perhaps more. A veritable plague of clicking and buzzing masses of wings and exoskeleton. For now, they're completely unbridled and scattered all over the place, buried in people's hair, crawling up limbs, and generally being little holy terrors. Frankly, it looks like a scene out of a horror movie.
Much like the rest of the populace, Shino is momentarily dazed - not so much from the flash, the goggles take care of that - but there's been a definite change in his physiology. The connection is back. There's a deliberate raising of his two arms in front of him as he silently commands the kikaichū to return.
The response is immediate. The insects take to flight, conglomerating into one swirling dark cloud before returning up his sleeves. Where do they go? People always complain why he wears so many layers, and now said layers are the only thing hiding the sight of the kikaichū piercing and burrowing into the pores of his skin. Show's over, folks. Shino's going to continue on his merry way.]
ANYWHERE ( SOME TIME LATER )
[Shino can be found taking his Galvantula for a walk, hands in pockets as per usual. The giant yellow spider scuttles behind him. There's no visible difference, but he's a lot more content than he's been in a while despite the inexplainable chaos around him. He's happy to survey and observe what everyone else is up to!]
